Candia Conservation Commission Scholarship to Barry Conservation Camp
Apply Now!
The Candia Conservation Commission is now accepting applications for the Candia Conservation Commission Scholarship to Barry Conservation Camp for the Summer of 2025. Candia youths, ages 10-16, are encouraged to apply and experience a week in the great outdoors.
The 2025 Conservation Camp week reserved is July 13-18: 4-H On The Wild Side (age 10-16).
The camp description reads: "In America's technology-based culture, the gap between youth and nature is growing. Experience nature and reunite with the great outdoors. Create a meal from gathered plants, fillet a fish and cook it over an open fire, sleep under the stars, climb a mountain, swim in a pond, create nature crafts, and more. Truly experience the great outdoors. Campers will also have a chance to enjoy a host of traditional camp activities like campfires, hikes, outdoor games, archery, and more. Sounds like fun!"
All applications are due by Friday, January 10, 2025.
